Billing
How billing works
- Diagnosis: $40, and it comes off the bill if you go ahead with the repair. If we find the problem but can't fix it, the $40 still applies. If we can't find what's wrong, there's usually no charge. Data recovery is no data, no charge: if we can't get your files back, you don't pay.
- Nothing starts without your OK: Repairs, parts and deeper teardowns are quoted first.
- Parts: Special-order parts are paid for when we order them. We tell you the price and when they should arrive first.
- Shop and remote time: Billed by the quarter hour. Members get the first 15 minutes of each session free.
- Paying: Due when you pick up your device, or when we finish on-site or remote work. Cash, card or check, with no card fee.
- Guarantee: Our labor is guaranteed for 30 days from pickup. Parts carry their maker's warranty.
- Plans: Charged automatically each month on the date you signed up. Support time past the free 15 minutes goes on your next bill. Prepaid hours aren't refunded, except as the plan terms say.
- Cancel any time: Home plans by phone, email or online. Nothing more is charged after that except time you've already used. Business plans take 30 days' notice.
- Business onboarding: One month's fee, waived with a one-year term.
- Backups: Not included, but we can set up a backup service for you. If you already have backups, we manage them.
